Psychotherapist
7700 congress ave, Ste 3207, Boca Raton, FL
I am a psychospiritual therapist with 14 years of experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and patterns that can leave them feeling disconnected from themselves. My approach integrates traditional mental health care with nervous system–informed and body-based modalities to support healing at a deeper, more sustainable level. I specialize in somatic therapy, nervous system regulation, parts work, and EFT (tapping), helping clients understand the roots of their struggles while developing greater safety, resilience, and self-trust. Rather than focusing only on symptom management, I work collaboratively with clients to gently address the underlying patterns held in the body, emotions, and psyche. My approach is compassionate, grounded, and tailored to each individual. I believe healing happens through safety, presence, and a therapeutic relationship where you feel seen, respected, and supported at your own pace. Whether you are working through trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, spiritual questions, or simply feeling stuck in recurring patterns, therapy can offer a space for meaningful change and reconnection. I work especially well with trauma survivors and spiritual seekers who are looking for an integrative approach that honors mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to help clients feel more at home within themselves and to support healing that is not only insightful, but embodied.

Getting to know Jennifer Myers

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in creating safety first. I see therapy as a space where we move at a pace that feels supportive to your nervous system, rather than forcing insight or pushing for change before you are ready. In our work together, you can expect a compassionate and attuned approach that integrates nervous system support, somatic therapy, parts work, and EFT (tapping) as appropriate to your needs. Some sessions may involve exploring thoughts, emotions, or patterns through conversation, while others may include body-based awareness practices that help you better understand and regulate what you are experiencing. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to healing. Therapy with me is tailored to you, your goals, and what feels most supportive in the moment. My style is gentle but engaged, reflective but practical, with attention to both deeper healing and tools you can integrate into daily life. For new clients, it may be helpful to know that our early work often focuses on building trust, understanding what brings you in, and creating a foundation of safety before moving into deeper processing. You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. You are welcome to arrive exactly as you are. Clients often seek me out when they are looking for therapy that honors both emotional depth and embodied healing, especially if they have felt that traditional talk therapy alone has not fully addressed what they are carrying.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session with me often begins with conversation and reflection around what feels most present for you that day—whether that is a current stressor, an emotional pattern, a relational challenge, or something arising more deeply in your healing process. This helps us orient to what needs attention while staying connected to your goals and your pace. From there, sessions may move into experiential work that supports healing beyond insight alone. Depending on your needs, this may include somatic or nervous system–based practices, parts work, EFT (tapping), breathwork, or guided awareness exercises that help you slow down, tune inward, and relate differently to what you are experiencing. A central part of my work is helping clients build practical tools for nervous system regulation and emotional resilience. This may include learning how to work with activation or overwhelm, observe thoughts and emotions with greater spaciousness, relate to inner parts with curiosity rather than identification, and safely feel and process emotions in an embodied way. My approach is not about forcing catharsis or “fixing” symptoms, but about helping you develop a deeper connection to your Self through safety, awareness, and integration. Over time, clients often find they are not only coping differently, but relating to themselves with more compassion, stability, and trust. Each session is tailored to the individual, but in general, our work includes both supportive dialogue and experiential practices that help insight become lived transformation.
