Getting to know Jennifer Rook
I graduated from Medaille University in 2011 with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling, earning a GPA of 3.7. I have been fully licensed as an LMHC in New York State since November 2012, license #5320. Over the past 11 years, I have worked as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Chemical Dependency Counselor in inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Room settings. In a supportive environment, I use various methods to help clients develop new coping strategies for life's challenges.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Brief Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy are my preferred therapeutic approaches. I am able to work with a variety of individuals but my passion is working with women who are struggling with Anxiety, Depression and/or maternal mental health. Additionally, I have a strong background with specialized training in Chemical Dependency and enjoy working with these clients as well.
