Hi there, I'm Jennifer! I'm a licensed professional counselor (LPC) based in Kansas City, seeing clients all throughout Missouri thanks to the magic of telehealth. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Evangel University. I work with adults (18+) and couples, specializing in overcoming grief, trauma, and anxiety. When I'm not sitting with clients, I indoor garden, snuggle my cats, and spend time outdoors or engaging in creative activities. My approach My approach to therapy involves drawing upon Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Practices, Existential Therapy, and EMDR. My goal is to join you where you are and create a customized treatment plan addressing your individual needs. My first session with you In our first appointment, I provide guidance through a loosely structured intake to gather history, while building an initial connection with you and getting a better understanding of what you're wanting to work on during our time together. We'll discuss frequency and scheduling at the end while I help answer any questions you might have!
