“When I looking for a new therapist, I figured I would meet with a few different therapists to see whom I connect with the best. But after meeting with Jennifer just once, I felt safe, comfortable, and encouraged to share freely and vulnerably. She’s a good balance of listening and offering feedback and intentional questions when needed.”

Getting to know Jennifer Schroeder

Hello, my name is Jennifer, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. Over the past 17+ years, I have predominantly worked with children, adolescents, and their families. I specialize in this population because I believe that effective treatment involves more than just working with the child-it requires equipping parents to support their child at home. My goal is "parent as therapist." While I value my weekly sessions with clients, I recognize that parents are the ones doing the real work outside of therapy. As a parent myself, I understand how difficult it is to see your child struggling and not know how to help. My aim is to support the child while also empowering parents to heal the entire family. I prefer using CBT and PCIT because I believe these methods provide families with practical tools to achieve quick and effective results.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
