Jennifer Valera, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to providing thoughtful, high-quality therapy in a professional, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to offer a space where you feel safe, respected, and taken seriously from the start.
I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach, working closely with clients to understand their concerns and develop clear, meaningful goals for treatment. Therapy with me is intentional and tailored-I draw from evidence-based approaches to meet your unique needs while honoring your values, culture, and lived experience.
I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, relationship challenges, stress, low self-esteem, life transitions, grief and loss, ADHD, anger management, and family conflict. I also have experience providing substance use counseling for adults. I earned both my undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Clinical Social Work from the University of Central Florida.
Outside of my work, I value time with my family-especially my niece and nephew. I enjoy yoga, documentaries, true crime, movies, a good cup of coffee, and the occasional well-earned moment of rest.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
