What should a new client know about working with you?

I think it is very important to get to know your expectations first on the first session, understand your needs first and anything else that you would like for me to know. It will take time to grow the relationship but I am here to help make you become the best version of you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My typical process working with clients is go over confidentiality, pay, questions/concerns, and expectations. This may or may not take up to two sessions. We will also discuss goals and anything else that you would like to make sure is addressed. Once these goals are met, I will ask if we can start to decrease our sessions or...stop our sessions altogether. I know it is usually a sad day. However, my goal is to make you whole and not have you need me anymore.

It’s common for mental health providers to be out-of-network. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network coverage, so you may get partially reimbursed. Learn more

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $110 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $70-110 for 60 minutes
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront

She is a very nice woman, but not a good fit for me. I need someone a little older with more life experience, as I am a mother with (almost lol) grown children. I’ve also had some personally traumatic events in the last two years. Honestly, she would be a great counselor for someone in their twenties or early thirties.
