101 Summit Ave, Ste 204, Fort Worth, TX
Hi, I’m Jennifer Sprague, and I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and support. I work with adolescents and adults who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, or major life transitions. My approach to counseling is collaborative and client-centered, meaning I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe therapy is not about “fixing” you, but about walking alongside you as you build insight, resilience, and meaningful change. I draw from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and person-centered techniques. Together, we will identify unhelpful patterns, develop practical tools, and reconnect with the values and strengths that guide your life forward. My goal is to support you in creating lasting growth, healing, and confidence as you move toward the life you want to live. I would be honored to be part of your journey.

Getting to know Jennifer Sprague

Hi, I’m Jennifer Sprague, and I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and support. My approach to counseling is collaborative and client-centered, meaning I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. I draw from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and person-centered techniques. What should a new client know about working with you?

My priority is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable being yourself—without fear of judgment. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re unsure where to begin. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, and I’ll meet you with compassion, curiosity, and respect for your unique story. In our work together, we’ll focus on both understanding what you’re going through and building practical tools to help you move forward. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and solution-focused therapy to support clients in managing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns. Most importantly, you don’t have to have everything figured out before you start. Therapy is a space to explore, grow, and reconnect with your strengths and values. My goal is for you to feel supported, empowered, and hopeful throughout the process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My typical process begins with building a strong foundation of safety and trust. In our first few sessions, I take time to get to know you—your story, what brings you to counseling, and what you hope will feel different in your life. This is also a chance for you to ask questions and see if I’m the right fit for you. From there, we’ll work together to identify goals that feel meaningful and realistic. Therapy is a collaborative process, so we’ll regularly check in to make sure our sessions are aligned with what you need most. As we continue, I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and solution-focused techniques. This may include exploring patterns of thought and behavior, learning coping strategies, processing past experiences, and developing skills to manage emotions and stress more effectively. I also believe therapy should be practical and empowering—so sessions often include tools you can apply in daily life, along with space for reflection, healing, and growth. Throughout the process, my goal is to support you in building resilience, increasing self-awareness, and moving toward a life that feels more grounded, fulfilling, and aligned with your values.
