I am a person-centered therapist who believes in a collaborative approach to therapy. I want to walk alongside you as you explore what you need to grow in the ways that you desire. My approach I utilize human-centered therapies to help you explore who you want to be and what is getting in the way. I am trained in EMDR for trauma work and in Emotionally Focused Therapy, so that we are able to discover how your emotions show up and how to work with them instead of being hindered by them. I work collaboratively with you to find the best things that will help you, including mindfulness and meditation, if that feels appropriate. I look forward to joining you on your journey for personal wellness. My focus I work with individuals who are struggling in day-to-day life, whether it be from current situations or difficulties in the past. I can help you explore what is getting in your way of being the absolute best version of yourself. I love to help people explore thought and behavior patterns as well as ways to overcome difficulties in those areas. My communication style I am a very compassionate, calm person. I create a space where we can be comfortable together and where we can move at the pace that feels best for you. My journey to mental healthcare I became a mental health provider in my 30s after I attended a personal growth group at my church. I discovered there the power of addressing my past and healing. I also discovered how much I love coming alongside others who desire to heal and grow. I went to school and graduated with my Master's Degree in 2020. I have had the privilege to work with people from the age of 7 to the age of 99 and to hear some amazing stories of strength and resiliency. I am honored to be a part of your journey.
