Hello! I'm Jenny, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. For the past five years, I've had the privilege of working in the helping profession, supporting clients ranging from the age of five to 71. My experience spans a wide array of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, chronic mental illness, PTSD, and ADHD. I've also had the honor of assisting many individuals who have endured physical trauma, sexual abuse, human trafficking, and emotional abuse. My counseling style is warm and engaging, with a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. I believe that our work together needs to be meaningful and effective, and that starts with treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, regardless of your background or the details of your story. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral and client-centered counseling, and I am trained in trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy to specifically address concerns related to trauma and PTSD.
