I use humor and a range of therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, and Self-Compassion to generate flexible thinking and give you clear tools to help you manage a range of complex thoughts and emotions. I will work with you wherever you are on your journey, going at your pace, collaborating with you to create a plan that fits for you, focusing on your goals, and shifting at any time to adapt to your needs and growth. My focus Are you struggling with sleep or anxiety? Are you navigating a queer identity journey or exploring neurodivergent traits? I can help you develop skills to manage anxiety and get healthy sleep. I also specialize in working with adolescents and adults to figure out who you are, how your brain works, and what you need to feel your best. My communication style I have a direct, conversational communication style that blends humor and metaphor to create a warm, compassionate, and comfortable space. I will never shy away from difficult conversations, but I will also never force you to tackle something until you're ready. I am comfortable with silence, so that you can take time to gather your thoughts if that's how you are comfortable communicating, but I also am very comfortable tracking your thoughts as you think out loud, bringing it all together to help you identify a clear sense of direction. My journey to mental healthcare I first became interested in therapy in middle school as the son of a Social Worker, writing a paper on children's mental health.
