Hi and welcome. I would like to offer you improved insight, awareness, support, and coping strategies to suit your needs. I provide a strengths-based client-focused approach for a variety of mental health and addiction issues. I have worked in the mental health and addiction field for 13 years. I believe each person has unique strengths, and I've seen firsthand how people can make positive change utilizing them. My approach is supportive and direct, and I like to challenge you to be your best self.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe problem behaviors are sometimes due to faulty thinking patterns, which lead to painful habits. I like to engage you in the difficult process of working through painful emotions or old beliefs which can keep you stuck. Through therapy I can assist you with identifying and challenging emotions, thoughts, and beliefs that cause unnecessary suffering.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Like peeling the layer of an onion, I will help you evaluate the many layers that underlie your mental health symptoms, which cause unnecessary pain, anxiety, depression, addiction, or other problems. I will work with you to develop healthy coping skills and provide an outside perspective through individual counseling sessions.
