Many people feel overwhelmed by life, constantly on edge, distant from others, and confused by their own reactions to their experiences. Often these are the results of prolonged exposure to an environment where our needs and safety were not prioritized. Whether you grew up in an unsafe home environment, neighborhood, or religious community, complex trauma can shape the way you see and experience the world, affecting your relationships, career, and all aspects of life. My passion is to work alongside you to recover what has been lost, and to help you see a path forward to hope again.

Whether you grew up in an unsafe home environment, neighborhood, or religious community, complex trauma can shape the way you see and experience the world, affecting your relationships, career, and all aspects of life. What should a new client know about working with you?

I offer a space where your safety and needs are prioritized, where your worldview and experiences are valued and considered. I use elements of narrative therapy, somatic experiencing, and Internal Family Systems, alongside more cognitive approaches (ACT, CBT, DBT), and EMDR to help you resolve trauma experiences and meet your particular goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

An intake session will include taking history and gathering background information on you to determine treatment goals. Typical 53-minute sessions will include a brief check-in on progress made and any issues arising between sessions, followed by working on treatment goals for remainder of the session.

More information on payments and coverage

Renovations Therapy utilizes Jane for accepting payment. I require each client to enter payment information in the system at least 24 hours prior to our first upcoming appointment time. It is quick, easy, and very secure. Just to be clear, I personally will not have access to your financial information - it will be on file and securely maintained through Jane. For Private Pay clients, sessions will be $150 per 53 minute session. Rate increases will take place annually, effective every July 1st. Therapist will provide client with 90 days notice of any upcoming rate increases. Rate increases are usually $10-15 to account for costs of living adjustment and any new trainings or certifications completed by Therapist that will benefit clients. Adjustments to the session price can be negotiated with Therapist depending on financial need. For Insurance clients, fees and coinsurance charges will be charged according to the guidelines of your insurance policy at the end of each session.
