Jessica is a Licensed Addiction Counselor and is working towards her licensure as an LMHC. She has her master's degree in Addiction Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, addiction, relationship and family concerns, foster care/DCYF, and other life experiences. Jessica believes that each person has their own story that has shaped what they are currently experiencing. Through her work, she strives to foster a safe space where clients can tell their story, gain insight into how that has impacted them, and create a new reality that is more fulfilling. She utilizes various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and narrative therapy. Jessica is well versed in the 12 steps, medication-assisted treatment, and the toll addiction takes on an individual and their family. Recovery is a process that doesn't happen overnight and is a continuous journey of learning to live again substance-free, and Jessica understands this process. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and visiting new places.
