Hi there, I'm Jessica! Hey there, I'm Jess. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina. When was the last time you truly felt like yourself? Have you been feeling trapped, stuck, or stagnant? If so, it may be time to talk to a counselor. Life is complex and sometimes overwhelming. Often, we put our needs on the back burner to focus on the fast-paced present. Counseling is an opportunity to expand your mind, self-reflect, practice gratitude, heal, slow down, rest, and recharge. It’s a chance to end harmful cycles, habits, beliefs, and behaviors. I earned my MEd in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Winthrop University, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to support clients effectively. My approach Each client presents unique, diverse needs. My counseling approach is holistic and integrative, founded on Person-Centered Therapy. I believe in addressing mind, body, and spirit throughout counseling. This perspective on the mind-body connection is key to making long-lasting positive changes. I draw from multiple therapeutic modalities to create personalized treatment plans. My Person-Centered foundation fosters an empathic counseling relationship where we collaborate on goals and share genuine insights and experiences. My focus I'm experienced in treating women’s issues, child sexual abuse, chronic stress, anxiety, and depression. I also treat a variety of other life difficulties. As an LGBTQIA+ ally, I offer gender-affirming care to all clients.
