“I can’t recommend Jessica highly enough. From the very first session, they created a space where I felt genuinely heard, respected, and understood. Their approach is both compassionate and insightful—they know how to ask the right questions while also giving me the room to process things at my own pace. What really stands out is their ability to balance professionalism with warmth. I never feel judged, only supported and guided. They’ve helped me develop practical tools to manage my thoughts and emotions, and I’ve seen real, positive changes in how I handle challenges in my daily life. If you’re looking for someone who truly listens, cares, and is deeply skilled at what they do, I would absolutely recommend them. Working with them has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my mental health.”

Getting to know Jessica Connelly

The provider is a “Licensed Professional Counselor" and their license number is 37PC00919000 I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, confidence, and self-compassion. I specialize in working with teens and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and life transitions. My approach to care is collaborative, supportive, and goal-oriented. I primarily use evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while also tailoring each session to meet your unique needs. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of themselves. Together, we work on building healthier coping skills, improving emotional regulation, and strengthening self-esteem so you can move forward with greater balance and confidence. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can be your authentic self. Taking the first step toward therapy can be difficult, but you don’t have to do it alone.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is a collaborative and engaging process. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can think freely, process openly, and feel truly heard. At the same time, I do believe in holding my clients accountable to their goals and growth. Therapy with me is not just about talking—it’s about making meaningful changes. We will work through situations together, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build practical tools you can use in your everyday life. You can expect a balance of support and structure. At times, I may suggest journaling, reflection exercises, or other “homework” between sessions to help reinforce what we’re working on and keep you moving forward. My goal is to help you gain clarity, build confidence, and develop the skills you need to navigate life more effectively.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process is structured, collaborative, and focused on helping you make meaningful progress. In our first few sessions, we’ll take time to understand your concerns, your history, and what you’d like to achieve in therapy. From there, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan with clear, realistic goals. Each session is designed to build on the last. We’ll work through challenges together, develop practical coping strategies, and track your progress along the way. I may incorporate reflection exercises or tools outside of sessions to help reinforce your growth. I believe therapy is not meant to last forever—unless you feel it continues to serve you. My goal is to help you gain the skills and confidence to navigate life independently, while knowing you have support when needed. If at any point additional or specialized care would be beneficial, I will work with you to find the right resources and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.

I can’t say enough about how refreshing it is to work with a therapist who truly sees me for who I am. From the very first session, I felt understood, not analyzed, judged, or pushed to fit into a box. Instead of trying to change me, they’ve helped me better understand myself, my patterns, and my strengths. There’s a genuine sense of respect in every session. I never feel rushed or dismissed, and it’s clear that they listen with intention and care. They meet me where I am, while still gently challenging me in ways that feel supportive rather than overwhelming. What stands out the most is how safe the space feels. I’m able to show up fully as myself, without fear of being “fixed.” That alone has made such a difference in my growth and healing. If you’re looking for a therapist who values authenticity, compassion, and real connection, I highly recommend working with them.
