Hi, I'm Jessica and I am passionate about helping people find their inner strength! With such a fast pace of life, you may feel like you are standing still while everything seems to be zooming around and past you. You could be getting frustrated, going through the motions or drowning within a never ending list of “to-do’s”. This frustration could leave you feeling like everything is spinning out of control and it’s hard to make decisions. You might even find yourself questioning what you’ve done wrong, wondering how things got this way and why this is happening to you. You can calm the internal noise and build the confidence you need to feel in control of your own life. During my time working as a parent-support specialist I learned the importance of supporting people with compassion and guidance to not only see their fears, but push past discomforts and find their inner strength. I also realized people do not always have proper access to support when they need it, which drove me to become a therapist. Through a decade working as a bilingual clinician with my concentration in latino mental health, I found ones ethnic background and upbringing can influence their perspective of themselves and the world. I believe that the problems people have should not define who they are as a person. I strive to help people recognize their problems are separate from themselves and help them pull out what they already have within themselves. I enjoy supporting individuals through building new skills and making changes needed to feel empowered to manage conflicts in a healthier way. I understand how difficult it feels to not know where to turn for answers. You are not alone, we can figure this out together. We all carry a story, and with the right tools, I can help guide you to move forward with strength, empowerment, and confidence.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I offer English/Spanish telehealth sessions via phone or online via video. I am available most evenings, Monday thru Friday by appointment. I am passionate about helping others find their inner strength. I want to help others know that despite their negative feelings, it does not make them a negative person. I want to help others grow by validating their experiences, and assist in making the changes needed to feel empowered and in control.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first appointment, I like to learn more about yourself and the various environments you engage in. We will take time to explore the roles you hold and both the positive and negative aspects of your life. Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as the primary source of treatment, together we identify your goal for sessions. I support individuals through skill building, managing conflict, and being empowered to make changes.
