My biggest passion is to help clients unfurl into their most authentic, powerful, connected selves. I go beyond surface-level solutions to explore your unique complexities and the stories that shape you. My goal is to help clients create a life that resonates with their deepest values and fosters meaningful relationships. You're looking for therapy because you want something in your life to change. Maybe you want to feel different, break out of patterns you find yourself in, have better relationships, or achieve goals, but you feel blocked. The place you're in may be incredibly painful, but I believe it holds enormous potential. Your pain is an invitation to deeper healing and growth and a sign that you desire something more. I help clients like you find deep and lasting change. I draw from a variety of theories and tailor my work to each client. However, my goal remains the same: to help you create a life that resonates with your deepest values, fosters meaningful relationships, and empowers you to grow into who you truly are. In my own healing journey, I have discovered a life that I never thought was possible. I would love to help you discover the life that is waiting for you. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology and earned my Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My work is primarily psychodynamic, which means I help you explore the thoughts and feelings that are under the surface. I believe that is where deeper and lasting change will happen. Here are a few values that guide my work: Embodied - We’ll integrate mind and body, grounding you in your body and tuning into its innate wisdom. Holistic- You are wonderfully complex! We’ll address the interplay of mind, body, spirit, relationships, and systems, aiming for overall thriving. Relational - Change happens through authentic connection. I invite you to be your true self as we work together. Systems-minded - We’ll explore how broader systems—like family dynamics, societal structures, cultural influences, and collective and generational trauma—shape your identity and experiences. I draw from the following theories and methodologies: Internal Family Systems, Attachment theory, Narrative Trauma Therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My work with couples is influenced by Emotionally Focused Therapy, Family Systems theory, and John and Julie Gottman’s research. I approach my work from an intersectional feminist lens and strive to be anti-oppressive.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Research shows that the most effective factor in therapy is the strength of the therapeutic relationship. In the first few sessions, I’ll want to learn more about you, your history, and what brings you into therapy, but I want it to feel more like a conversation than a medical interview. We’ll work to build trust and connection, and to create a safe space for you to bring all the parts of yourself. I meet with most clients weekly, or sometimes more, if needed. My approach is person-centered, which means I let you bring what you want to talk about each week. My job is to listen deeply, dive in with you wherever you are, and help you make connections. The process is highly collaborative.
