What should a new client know about working with you?

I, Jessica Fay, am a licensed clinical social worker. In providing individual therapy, I draw upon my experiences utilizing an eclectic approach and evidence-based practices. These interventions include Cognitive-Behavioral, Systems, and Strengths-perspective. I am also available to supervise license-eligible clinicians clinically.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During each session, I encourage my clients to provide any new updates since the last time we spoke, and then collaboratively decide which areas of the goal process we want to focus on for that session. I look to provide at least 1-2 takeaways for each session for my clients, as well as actionable items that a client can practice/utilize outside of sessions. These skill sets will link back to the specific goals we set for treatment.
