Getting to know Jessica Frank

Our relationships and ability to cope are often affected by the stress of everyday expectations like balancing work and family, navigating relationship challenges, and feeling like you always have to hold it all together. This can leave you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself and others, and stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break. You may find yourself overthinking, replaying situations, feeling on edge, or struggling with intrusive thoughts and emotional numbness. Lasting change begins with understanding and exploring the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that have shaped who you are. Our experiences impact how we see ourselves and move through life. If you feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, self-doubt, or past pain, you’re not alone. Therapy provides a safe, accepting space where you can be heard, supported, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease and self-compassion. Whether you’re facing concerns of anxiety, depression, ADHD, childhood trauma, or relationship issues, I am here to help.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The approach that I use is person-centered because you are the expert in your life. I also utilize a strengths-based approach to explore your individual strengths and areas of resourcefulness. Since I believe that the mind and body are connected, the types of therapy I use include Cognitive behavioral Therapy and Body-Based Therapy to address both the mental and physical symptoms of anxiety and stress.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The therapy process begins with an intake where we will discuss if I am a good fit as your therapist and the process of therapy. I will send intake paperwork that you must fill out before this session. This paperwork includes therapy policies and some assessments. As a Mental Health Counselor, I offer you a safe environment to voice your thoughts, express your emotions, and explore yourself to help address and ease symptoms of stress and anxiety. Together, we will evaluate where unhelpful thoughts and ways of coping originated from and create goals to lead to healthier habits and a deeper sense of self. You will learn how to manage the mental and physical symptoms of anxiety and challenge limiting beliefs.
