Getting to know Jessica Hallam

I strive for client satisfaction and believe that the relationship between myself and those I work with is the most important part of the work I do. All of my work is based on mutual respect, openness, honesty, and a willingness to replace problematic behaviors and thoughts with more productive and functional ones so that everyone achieves the happiness, satisfaction, and success in life they desire. I believe that everyone can achieve the success they want, but sometimes we all need a little extra support. Sometimes this comes from family or friends, but other times we may need or want help from a professional—that is why I am here. I hold a Master’s in Organizational Counseling and have also completed studies in Clinical Community Counseling, both at Johns Hopkins University. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Juniata College and studied Child and Youth Studies at the University of Hull. I am a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor and Clinical Professional Counselor Supervisor. I am EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained for trauma and currently pursuing EMDR Certification.
