Jessica Haworth, LPC

Psychotherapist
OK
My name is Jessica Haworth. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health from Northeastern State University. I am a person-centered therapist with a trauma-informed approach. I work with individuals and couples who have relational and sexual trauma. My approach I am a trauma-informed therapist focused on the individual. I incorporate multiple modalities tailored to fit the client's needs at that time. Some modalities include Internal Family Systems with parts work and emotionally focused therapy to help clients attune to the self. My focus I typically work with individuals and couples who have experienced childhood and adulthood traumas such as molestation, sexual assault, parental abuse, and intimate partner abuse. I also work with individuals in life transitions and those learning to manage anxiety and depressive symptoms. My communication style I am a client-centered therapist. I provide a warm, grounded, nonjudgmental environment in which clients can increase self-compassion and move through stuck places with support. My journey to mental healthcare I experienced complex traumas in my younger life. The lasting impact and the ways I found to move through and beyond survival into a thriving life give me great compassion for others. My goals for you I listen to client goals, and together we collaborate to meet those goals. The client is the expert on themselves. I am just meeting and getting to know the client. I use my knowledge, insight, and experience to help clients navigate difficulties. My first session with you The first session is about getting to know one another, discussing expectations and responsibilities. Clients can feel free to ask any questions or share concerns they may have. We can discuss the presenting issues and briefly how we may approach them.
