Getting to know Jessica Hodgskin
Hi, I'm Jess. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and 11 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Do you feel overwhelmed? Are you struggling with relationship issues? Are you having difficulty managing day-to-day tasks? I can help you find ways to manage these stressors, improve your communication and conflict resolution skills, while processing your feelings and exploring the root causes.
We'll use a strengths-based and person-in-environment approach. I also integrate mindfulness and coping strategies into our sessions.
Whether you are dealing with feeling overwhelmed, cycles of anxiety, depression, mood regulation, or relationship issues, I am here to help.
I understand that seeking therapy can be an overwhelming and scary process, but you are making a brave choice. In your sessions, I will meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques.
What should a new client know about working with you?
The initial consultation is our opportunity to get acquainted and discuss the presenting issues. During our sessions, I can offer support to process your feelings and stressors or I can give strategies and skills to help you cope with stressors and integrate these skills into their everyday life. You will be met with nonjudgmental support, empathy and genuineness but may at times be challenged in the maladaptive behaviors that are impacting your growth. I believe in setting goals and identifying what 'better' would look like for you so that we can set realistic goals for your progress.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
