I'm Jessica Loeb, MS, LMFT, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing therapy services based in Broward County. I help individuals, couples, and families improve their relationships, transform their communication, and empower themselves through better self-understanding. My counseling style is warm, engaging, conversational, and collaborative. I believe in the power of authenticity, humor, and radical honesty to pave the way for meaningful change. Recognizing people's strengths and encouraging those around me comes naturally. I strive to balance challenging my clients to grow while appreciating the various elements in their lives from multiple perspectives. My work is grounded in multiple therapeutic models; I would describe my style as eclectic and adaptable to my clients' needs. I use Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to focus on my clients’ goals and strengths, MRI/Brief Strategic Therapy to understand the nature of problems and patterns, and Bowen Family Systems to explore my clients’ unique family histories. I also use Narrative Therapy techniques to work with clients’ metaphors, helping them weave new stories about themselves, always aiming to understand my clients in the most holistic way possible. I hold a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Thomas University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from New College of Florida. I am currently registered with the state of Florida as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), license number MT 4624. I bring nearly a decade of experience working in the community in substance abuse, case management, grief and loss, educational counseling, and private practice.
