My name is Jessica Lopez, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been practicing social work for 15 years, primarily in the fields of mental health and addiction. I have experience providing care in inpatient, outpatient, and private settings. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Adelphi University's Hauppauge Center.

If you’re reading this it means you’ve taken the 1st, & hardest, step towards your recovery. Welcome! My name is Jess, & I’m here to help. I’ve been practicing social work for 15 years, & I specialize in the areas of mental health & addiction. I’ve always loved what I do-simply walking alongside those who seek to grow. I admire those who are willing to change, & I honor anybody ready to take that journey with me.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach to therapy is built upon the sacred pact between therapist and client-established through mutual respect & trust. I seek to empower my clients to find solutions, while I provide the necessary support & guidance. I am very direct & real, & I tend to use different therapeutic techniques informally. In other words, my therapy does not come straight out of a book, but instead offers a more “raw” perspective & real-life application. Clients can expect good conversation. I like to keep things casual & take time to get to know each other. Clients can share as much or as little as they’re comfortable with.
