Jessica Martinez, LCSW

Psychotherapist
2101 S Arlington Hts Rd, Ste 116, Arlington Heights, IL
Hi! I’m Jessica. I am so happy that we have crossed paths here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Clinical Supervisor. I enjoy working with patients by taking a collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based approach from the very first session. I am passionate about empowering clients to discover their internal resolve and resilience to build the lives that they want. In therapy, I believe change happens when patients feel empowered to explore their own inner strengths through self-discovery and feeling able to make positive changes in their own lives. I have extensive experience supporting children, teens, and adults utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities including DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) to help clients reach their goals. In addition to this, I have experience at all levels of care – outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), residential, and inpatient treatment, working with a broad range of diagnoses and presenting concerns. My career in psychology began for me when I studied psychology in high school. I took an advanced psychology course and immediately became hooked. From there, the rest was history! I studied Psychology and Sociology at Illinois College – a small liberal arts school located in Jacksonville, Illinois. While being a student, I was also a division three college soccer player. As a retired collegiate soccer player, I have learned the value of perseverance, resilience, and self-belief.
