This was my second session with Jessica Mauney, and it was as helpful and comforting as the first — though perhaps even more so! First appointments focus on intake, with a lot of survey-style questions, which is a good foundation -- though the intake process does not always reveal whether the social worker/counselor and the patient are a good fit. Jessie offered great insight as well as some helpful tools to utilize and have handy while I navigate some immediate challenges. The ZocDoc video connection had some audio delay to it (though it could have been my connection, I suppose.) Jessie brought up the audio delay at one point and how it causes some conversation overlap, and she said that she wanted me to know that she would never talk over me or cut me off — that if I perceived that was happening, it was the video connection. How nice is that? Very! Jessie is so very kind, thoughtful, aware, sensitive, and super helpful. Jessica Mauney is a great social worker and counselor!

Though we have had just one session so far, it is clear to me that Jessie is a compassionate, caring, kind, intelligent, skilled, talented, knowledgeable, and committed healing professional.
