Getting to know Jessica McMath

Seeking counseling can be an overwhelming and anxiety-producing experience beyond "the why" of what brought you here. Building a relationship of trust to be vulnerable with a complete stranger is one of the hardest things we can do as humans. Chronic stress from past experiences and intergenerational trauma or stress are often hidden or very present parts of ourselves, creating a tangled web of connections within and attachments with others. In partnership with my clients, I assist them in emerging from within themselves with increased positive connections, self-image, self-forgiveness, and a focus on their life goals. When we work together, the aim is to help you find balance, clarity, and focus for your life goals through a lens of healing. I hold an MEd in Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College, which informs my compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
