“Jess was very sweet and comforting! I’m usually very nervous doing new things but she reassured me and helped me feel more comfortable. She had fidget toys to play with as well as a weighted stuffed animal which was very nice! Definitely recommend :)”

Getting to know Jessica Parker

Reaching out for support is a courageous decision, and I want you to know that you’re not alone on this journey. I’m here to guide you with compassion, understanding, and a commitment to your growth. I am a compassionate mental health professional born and raised in South Florida, dedicated to guiding individuals on their journey toward healing and self-discovery. I work with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and self-harm, providing them with the support and tools they need to navigate their challenges and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. Growing up in a household with divorced parents, I learned firsthand about resilience, empathy, and the importance of effective communication in navigating life's challenges. My own experiences helped me develop a deep understanding of how family dynamics can impact mental well-being, which inspired me to pursue a career in counseling. Driven by my passion for understanding the human psyche and helping others thrive, I earned both my Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology and my Master’s degree in Counselor Education from the University of Central Florida. Outside of my work as a counselor, I remain an avid reader and lifelong learner. Whether I'm exploring fiction, psychology, or personal development, I find inspiration in the written word. I also embrace the opportunity to travel and immerse myself in different cultures. Each journey I take offers not only a chance for exploration and adventure but also serves as a reminder of the connections between humanity and the universality of human emotions.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As a compassionate therapist rooted in narrative therapy, solution-focused, and strength-based approaches, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where your story is honored and your strengths are highlighted. I understand the impact of life’s challenges (including depression, anxiety, trauma, and self-harm) and am here to walk beside you with empathy and care. Together, we’ll work toward healing, growth, and a renewed sense of purpose.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work begins with building a strong, trusting relationship where your voice and experiences are central to the process. From there, we’ll identify your goals and use practical, empowering strategies tailored to your needs. Throughout our sessions, I’ll support you in uncovering your resilience, fostering self-awareness, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
