Psychotherapist

The provider is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and is currently working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. Their current employer is Eye of the Storm. I graduated from Wheaton College with a BA in philosophy and Italian studies in 2015, and earned a M.A. in clinical psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles in 2024. I trained with CPLA for 1 ½ years as a school counsellor in East LA. My experience has been in supporting children, adolescents, and their parents/caregivers with: family dynamics, challenging relationships, communication, anxiety, depression, academic performance, motivation, self-esteem, identity, sexuality, behaviour, rage, self-harm, suicidality, trauma, and child abuse. Therapy is—above all else—collaborative and creative. We start with what’s working for you now, and build from there. Part of the process is finding what works for you, whatever that looks like. My style has a psychodynamic and Gestalt foundation, with attachment and neurodevelopmental lenses. I often incorporate psychoeducation, and, when appropriate, play, art, and Sandtray therapy. I am also a certified provider of AutPlay Therapy, a neuro-affirming play therapy that addresses the needs of neurodivergent folks. As we bring attention to the present and explore its relationship to the past, we work to notice these parts and accept them as us. We transform into someone greater by accepting our entire selves as we are. Together, we establish a language for your internal experience so you make sense of it, and change how you interpret and interact with yourself and others. Where adults use words, children are naturally fluent in the language of play. Regardless of age, we can work together to resolve our innermost conflicts and find peace.
