Do you feel overwhelmed by your feelings or controlled by your emotions? Do you want to understand yourself better? Have you ever found yourself thinking, "Why did I respond that way?" There are times in life when an outside, non-biased person can support you through this process. My name is Jessica. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have worked with men and women in different settings and at various stages of life. Life is hard and can present challenges and experiences that feel overwhelming or confusing. Seeking support is not easy and can be intimidating. However, despite all that, you are reaching out, and I applaud you! I would love to be a part of your journey. Having support during times when we feel completely depleted can be a game changer. Let's work together to understand the issues you are dealing with and develop a strategy to address them. You are not alone, and you are more than the anxiety, depression, or losses you have experienced. A little about myself: I started my education journey later in life. I attended Chabot College and completed my AA, thinking that was where it would end. Then, through the support and encouragement of faculty, friends, and family, I applied to Mills College and received my BA in Psychology. At that point, I started working with children and families doing ABA therapy. I soon realized I wanted to continue my education and applied to the University of Southern California's Master's in Social Work program, where I began my journey in social work. After graduating, I worked with men and women with chronic medical diagnoses, substance use, and other mental health issues. Throughout my career, I also worked with individuals transitioning back into society after incarceration. Most recently, I have worked with men and women diagnosed with chronic medical conditions, as well as those on hospice. As you can imagine, depression, anxiety, grief, and loss are common and expected responses to these life events.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
