Jessica Qureshi, LCPC

Psychotherapist
MD
Many of the adults and young adults I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or uncertain about their direction. You may be navigating anxiety, depression, mood swings, relationship challenges, identity concerns, ADHD, or the stress of life transitions. These are difficult challenges to face alone. I work with clients to turn their self-awareness and intentions into actions and life changes. Together, we can work toward getting you from knowing what you want in life to becoming who you want to be. With a warm, empathetic approach, I create a space for self-reflection and compassionate accountability. I utilize dialectical behavioral therapy to help you integrate mindfulness, relationship health, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation techniques into your day to bring your intentions to life and confidently move through life. Change can be difficult, whether it's identifying what needs to change, staying accountable, or accepting change itself. I'm here to support you in turning desire for change into new actions. Your mind is the place you always are, a place you can never leave, so let’s work together to make your mind a happy, safe place to be.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with clients who feel there's a gap between the life they envision and the one they're currently living. In our first sessions, we'll dive into the patterns you'd like to change and explore the obstacles that have been in your way. Using your unique strengths and the DBT framework, we'll create a plan to help you move toward aligning your intentions with your everyday experience.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I'd love to support you in using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to create a more intentional mindset. Together, we'll explore your emotions, relationships, and triggers, helping you build the tools to transform those patterns. My goal is to support you in navigating challenges and aligning your intentions with your experience, fostering emotional growth and stability.
