Great to meet you! As a licensed independent clinical social worker with nearly 21-years of experience in the behavioral health field and overall 22-years in the social work/human services field. I am honored that you have chosen to work with me. Please know that I value the counseling relationship. I consider this relationship to be one of mutual, sacred trust. I work with adults to help them meet their personal and therapeutic goals with a person-centered approach. A bit about my approach to therapy At some point in life anyone maybe faced with the ups and downs of life. I am here to help assist you with this process. It’s important to me that we communicate openly and you feel respected in our relationship. I’ll be there to listen to you, challenge you, and support you along the way. What you can expect from our first session The therapeutic relationship is important, so I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
