Jessie Estrada, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
Hi, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) with over two decades of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I earned both my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Counseling from the The University of Texas at San Antonio, and I have been practicing therapy since 2006. I am passionate about helping individuals who are struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, anxiety, depression, and the everyday stressors that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported without judgment. My approach to therapy is client-centered, meaning I meet each person where they are and tailor the therapeutic process to their unique needs and goals. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and together we work toward creating greater balance, self-awareness, and emotional well-being in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable for you. In our first session together, here's what you can expect Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive therapeutic relationship. During this session, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you may be facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. There is no pressure to share everything at once, we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll also ask questions about your personal history, relationships, emotional well-being, and any current stressors so I can better understand your experiences and how to best support you. This session is also a chance for you to ask questions, share any concerns, and get a feel for what working together may look like. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood from the very beginning.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
