Jewel Weah, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
Hi, I’m Jewel! I’m a Minneapolis native, currently residing in Dallas. Outside of sessions, you might find me listening to Audible, podcasts, cooking, dabbling in photography, taking Pilates, and traveling. When I went off to college, I did not have a clue as to what I wanted to “be” or study. But I did know what I didn’t want to be: a doctor or nurse. I love to help others, and I knew I wanted to do so in a way that did not involve the potential of seeing blood. Through volunteerism and mentorship in college, I found my passion in helping others by providing a safe space to listen and provide emotional support. I earned my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. My therapeutic approach is a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Solution Focused Therapy, and Person Centered Therapy. What this means is that together we will explore your strengths and resources, focusing on change and solutions rather than the problem.
