Getting to know Jill Geller

With over 15 years of experience as a clinical art therapist and yoga instructor, I support clients across a wide range of needs. My work includes children and adolescents managing depression, anxiety, ADHD, and oppositional defiance; children and teens recovering from traumatic brain injuries and other medical issues; families facing acute and long-term medical crises; as well as adults seeking support during life’s transitional stages. Common themes in therapy sessions include depression, anxiety, trauma processing, stress management before, during, and after the Covid-19 pandemic, relationships, grief, and the search for life’s meaning. I hold a Master’s degree in Art Therapy from the School of Visual Arts. In my practice, I integrate elements of my regular yoga practice into the art-making process, enhancing the Art Therapy experience with relaxation techniques, visualization, meditation, breath work, and gentle, accessible movement when desired, applicable, and useful.
