Hi, I'm Jill Krayewsky and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make that process feel as comfortable and supportive as possible. I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2010 and have had the opportunity to support individuals in many different settings—from inpatient and residential treatment to PHP, IOP, and outpatient therapy. These experiences have shaped how I show up for my clients: with compassion, understanding, and flexibility. ? I work primarily with adults who are struggling with substance use, eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not like yourself, you don’t have to figure it out alone. ? My approach to therapy is very individualized. I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” model. Instead, I pull from a variety of evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed care to meet your specific needs. I’m also certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which can be incredibly helpful for processing trauma and difficult experiences in a way that feels manageable and effective. ? Above all, I believe therapy is about empowerment—helping you better understand yourself, build healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful change in your life. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported every step of the way.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that lasting change begins with self-awareness, support, and the right tools. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I work with you to better understand your experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and build a life that feels meaningful and aligned. What Can You Expect? My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and supported throughout your therapeutic journey. Therapy is not just about managing symptoms—it’s about empowering you to better understand yourself, build resilience, and create a more fulfilling life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical individual therapy session with me is a collaborative, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are—no pressure, no judgment. We usually start by checking in on how you’ve been feeling since our last session. You might share what’s been weighing on you, something that felt like progress, or even something you’re unsure how to put into words yet. From there, we gently explore what feels most important in the moment—whether that’s anxiety, relationship stress, substance use, body image, or past experiences that continue to show up in your life today. I take an active, engaged role in sessions. That means I’ll ask thoughtful questions, offer insights, and help you make connections between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify patterns, uncover underlying causes, and work toward practical tools you can use outside of therapy. This might include coping skills, grounding techniques, boundary-setting, or strategies to manage cravings or emotional overwhelm. If it feels helpful, we’ll also spend time building a deeper understanding of your triggers, strengthening your self-awareness, and developing a personalized plan for growth and healing. For clients in recovery or navigating high-risk situations, we may incorporate relapse prevention strategies and support systems into our work. Most importantly, therapy with me is paced according to your comfort. Some sessions may feel more reflective and insight-driven, while others are more structured and skill-based. Either way, my goal is to help you feel heard, challenged in a meaningful way, and empowered to make lasting changes. Over time, many clients notice they’re not just coping better—they’re understanding themselves more deeply, responding differently to stress, and feeling more confident in their ability to navigate life.
