My name is Jill Powell. I am a licensed Professional counselor (LPC) and I have over 10 years experience in the mental health field. My passion is to help all adults of the lifespan find their strengths, and to help guide them to live their lives to their fullest potential. You will find that I utilize a holistic strengths based approach in my sessions, along with solution focused, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy. People have told me that I have a calming presence about myself which will immediately put you at ease. I enjoy working with clients that are seeking help in issues with mood disorders, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, chronic health issues, relationship issues, and many more. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at East Stroudsburg University and my graduate degree in Mental Health counseling at Walden University.
