What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is both client-centered and solution-focused, where I tailor my treatment modalities to the individual needs of my clients. As a grief specialist, I'm passionate about helping clients who have been diagnosed with cancer or chronic illness, or are experiencing a loss in their life. I use evidence-based techniques to help you achieve your goals, make sense of life’s losses and strengthen your relationships.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The most effective therapy will include a good fit with your therapist. While I am trained in providing short-term counseling, I also have clients who have been with me for years or who return for maintenance sessions periodically.

More information on payments and coverage

I am able to provide a superbill for clients to submit to their insurance. Occasionally, I am able to submit directly on a client's behalf. While I am a private pay practitioner, periodically I can offer a sliding scale for those in need.
