Getting to know Jillian Jackson-Motonga

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from Florida State University. For the last twenty years, it has been an honor to support individuals and families in crisis. I provide support and counsel to those experiencing increased stress, anxiety, depression, and other mood and thought complications. I am a trauma-informed therapist, offering therapeutic support to those who have experienced grief, loss, and/or trauma. Allow me to walk alongside you as you take your journey toward healing. Together, we can figure this out.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I take a person-centered, holistic approach when providing therapy. The session will start with a conversation. You can openly share your goals and reasons for seeking therapy. I will assess your family history and your current functioning in specific areas of your life. We will together develop the appropriate plan and begin filling in the missing parts. "putting in what's missing". We will move at the pace that feels comfortable to you. The mission is that you will feel more self-aware and empowered following our therapeutic time together.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
