Getting to know Jillian Keyes

*CURRENTLY ONLY ACCEPTING SELF-PAY PATIENTS* My focus as a therapist is to learn from clients the areas of life—relationships, work, school, substance use—where they feel “stuck” and to work together to strategize ways to become “unstuck.” Setting goals and making progress toward those goals is paramount for clients to feel successful in the therapy process. I like to support clients in finding practical ways to start the change process and to help them maintain their motivation. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University, which informs my approach to helping clients navigate challenges and achieve meaningful growth.

What should a new client know about working with you?

With over 15 years experience in hospital and residential treatment settings I have learned that the counselor and client relationship is essential to the therapeutic process and strive to create a safe, trusting space. Honesty is a necessary component to self-discovery and is best promoted in a non-judgmental environment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

By focusing on your strengths I hope to work alongside you as you become empowered to achieve your goals, and to help you learn skills to better cope with the challenges you may face.

I accept clients claiming on their OON benefits and will provide superbills to help clients obtain insurance reimbursement. My $250 fee is required at time of service.
