Hello! I'm Jim, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in both Florida and Connecticut. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University. I'd like to support you in building the life you imagine! Life can be happy, joyous, and fulfilling. However, it can also be challenging at times. These challenges may involve external situations we're currently facing, internal struggles with our feelings and thoughts, or both. During these times, it is often beneficial to work with an empathetic, supportive, and knowledgeable therapist who will assist you in taking the necessary steps to deal with such challenges effectively and move forward with your life. I have 14 years of experience as a therapist working with adolescents, adults, and seniors dealing with a variety of issues. I have worked in a nonprofit outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment agency, treating clients with depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. As a primary therapist in an inpatient substance abuse treatment facility, I supported clients as they began their journeys of sobriety and recovery. I have also assisted patients and family members facing end-of-life issues as a home hospice social worker.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
