Hello, I'm Jimmy. I obtained my Master of Social Work degree in 1988 and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Over the years, I've dedicated myself to helping individuals navigate through their challenges and find a path to healing. My primary modality of treatment is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, a powerful approach that addresses a wide range of issues, from major traumatic experiences to those seemingly smaller incidents that accumulate over time. They all matter, and they all deserve attention and care. I am certified in EMDR Therapy and serve as an EMDRIA-Approved Consultant. Additionally, I am the EMDR Institute Regional Trainer for the Military, which allows me to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my practice. My work with veterans and military personnel has been particularly rewarding, as I help them process and overcome the unique challenges they face. When you come to see me, you can expect a collaborative and goal-oriented approach. From our first session, we'll work together to identify a clear plan of care. You'll be the driving force in our therapy sessions, and we'll always focus on a specific goal that we're working toward.
