I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of Florida and Texas. I earned my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Florida in 2009. I speak English, Spanish, and Arabic. I maintain a general practice, working mainly with adults, and identify as a brief systemic solution-oriented therapist. As a professional, I am deeply committed to lifelong learning and continuing to master the healing arts of therapy. I am curious about people and their stories-their strengths, struggles, and resources. My strength as a therapist lies in being empathetic and intuitively sensitive to my clients' needs. My treatment philosophy is that each person and situation is unique. I believe people have internal resources that can help bring about successful resolutions to life's challenges. I approach my clients with warmth and a non-judgmental style, working collaboratively to understand their unique qualities and concerns. Together, we discuss goals and needs and develop plans accordingly. After booking, Tava Health will text and email you a link to complete registration and join your video therapy session. Once registered, you'll be able to log in to Tava to join your session, book additional sessions, and message your therapist. Appointments are for talk therapy over video. This therapist cannot provide medication prescriptions, emotional support animal (ESA) letters, or immigration psychological evaluations.
