As a therapist, she provides services in a caring and non-judgmental environment where clients can feel safe to share life’s deepest hurts. Crystal tailors treatment to meet each person’s specific needs by considering the uniqueness of their background, life experience, culture, and worldview. She desires to empower each person to face life’s challenges, develop strength and hope, and acquire the additional skills needed to find healing and achieve their desired goals. Crystal uses a variety of counseling techniques and skills to help clients overcome difficulties, establish healthy boundaries with others, and learn practical tools to cope with their problems. Crystal earned her Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Growing up in China, studying and working in South Korea, and coming to America to further her education have given her a unique understanding of people from diverse racial, cultural, and religious backgrounds. She is always ready to be a student of her clients’ lives. Her warm, friendly, and calm personality helps clients feel comfortable working with her. Throughout her years of experience as a therapist, Crystal has worked with adults and families in various settings. She has a special interest in working with people who have experienced childhood trauma, individuals experiencing prolonged anxiety, and couples and families suffering from relationship issues. Crystal’s special areas of interest include: - Childhood Trauma - Codependency/Boundary Issues - Domestic, Dating, or Family Violence - Relationship Issues - Anxiety - Depression - Homosexuality/Gay/Lesbian - Infidelity/Divorce Recovery
