What should a new client know about working with you?

When working with me, you will experience a safe and supportive space where you are met with compassion, respect, and genuine care. I approach each client without judgment and at a pace that feels right for you. Our work will be collaborative and thoughtful, focused on understanding your experiences, identifying meaningful goals, and developing insight and skills that support lasting change. I believe every person deserves a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling. I am here to walk alongside you with compassion and support as you move through the process of healing and growth. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and affirming space for individuals who have been impacted by religious or spiritual trauma. Many clients come to therapy carrying shame, fear, or confusion from experiences in faith communities that were controlling, punitive, or invalidating of their identity, emotions, or life choices. In our work together, you are not required to believe, conform, or explain yourself—you are accepted exactly as you are.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our initial sessions, I focus on understanding your concerns, background, and goals at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Therapy is collaborative, and together we will identify meaningful goals and tailor our work to your unique needs. Sessions may include reflection, emotional processing, and practical tools drawn from evidence-based approaches. Throughout the process, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel respected, understood, and empowered to grow.
