Whether you're seeking support during a difficult season, working through past experiences, or looking to build healthier relationships with yourself and others, my goal is to provide a space where you feel understood and supported every step of the way. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and I'm honored to be part of your journey toward growth and healing.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and free to be yourself. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I believe the strongest outcomes come from working together to understand your experiences, identify your strengths, and create realistic goals for change. Our first few sessions will focus on getting to know you—your story, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to accomplish. From there, we'll develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your unique needs and adjust it as you grow. I strive to balance compassion with honesty. I'll listen without judgment while also gently challenging unhelpful patterns, exploring new perspectives, and helping you develop practical skills that you can use outside of our sessions. Every person is different, so I tailor my approach using evidence-based interventions that best fit your goals. Whether you're working through anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, stress, grief, or a major life transition, my hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with tools to continue your progress between appointments.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session is focused on understanding you. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, review your personal history, explore your current concerns, and identify the goals you'd like to work toward. This helps us develop a treatment plan that reflects your unique needs and priorities. In ongoing sessions, we'll check in on what's happened since we last met, explore challenges or successes you've experienced, and work through situations that are affecting your well-being. Together, we'll identify patterns, process emotions, build insight, and practice practical coping strategies that you can apply in your daily life. Depending on your goals, sessions may include developing communication skills, learning techniques to manage anxiety or stress, processing difficult life experiences, improving emotional regulation, strengthening relationships, or building healthier habits. I use evidence-based therapeutic approaches while adapting each session to meet you where you are. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Some sessions may focus on processing emotions, while others may emphasize problem-solving, skill building, or creating action plans. My goal is for you to leave each session with greater clarity, increased confidence, and practical tools to support your growth between appointments.
