Welcome to Therapy! My name is Jocelyn Roberts, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently serving Louisiana. I earned my Master of Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans in 2008. For over a decade, I have worked with clients-children and families of all ages-addressing a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting challenges, career difficulties, and family matters.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapy style is empathetic, inviting, and solution-focused. In my therapy practice, I implement an eclectic therapeutic approach when working with clients. I believe that each client's needs are unique and aim to utilize a collaborative approach, one where the client is the expert. Embarking on the journey of therapy is a courageous and worthy step toward personal growth, healing, and enhanced well-being.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session together, we will be introduced and delve deeper into the issues affecting you that bring you to therapy. We will, then, collaborate to create a plan that addresses each challenge and leads you to your personal goals. Thereafter, you will walk away from each session with tools, resources and practices to implement between sessions to help you get closer to your goals.
