Hello, I'm Jodi, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience as a therapist. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Colorado State University and an undergraduate degree in Anthropology from the University of Georgia. My journey has taken me through various settings, from private practice and community mental health to working in a Bhutanese hospital and with Doctors Without Borders in Uzbekistan, Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Bangladesh. I specialize in helping adults navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, recent or past trauma, concentration or focus issues, relationship problems, life stress, insomnia, chronic pain, and illness. I often work with creatives, expats, idealists, high achievers, entrepreneurs, and other out-of-the-box thinkers who strive to live with both passion and balance. My approach is rooted in inquiry, science, education, skill-building, and EMDR, allowing us to delve into what may be holding you back and work through it together. When I'm not seeing clients, I enjoy life on a regenerative ranch with my partner. Our days are filled with taking care of animals, fixing fences, and occasionally swatting away mosquitoes. In my free time, I love to run (currently training for a half-marathon), read world fiction and history, knit socks, and study languages like French, Spanish, and Russian. Traveling is another passion of mine, and I've been fortunate to visit over 40 countries and live in Asia for four years.
