Getting to know Jodi Plowman

I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where patients can openly explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I can assist you with managing symptoms including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and establishing a strong skill set to increase quality of life. My therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques. I tailor my approach to each individual's unique needs, helping them gain insight, build coping skills, and develop healthier patterns of thinking and behavior. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Pennsylvania Western University, Edinboro, which informs my commitment to compassionate, effective care. My goal is to empower patients to take control of their mental health and lead more fulfilling lives. Whether you're struggling with a specific issue or seeking personal growth, I am here to support you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am dedicated to "meeting the patient where they are." Patients can expect to walk away from sessions feeling heard and understood. I will concentrate on skill-building tools, and the application of these modalities, and embrace a level of psycho-education to assist in improving perspective and quality of life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
