Jodie Haber, LMSW
Jodie Haber is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Michigan who has been practicing since 2010. Over the past 20 years, Jodie has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families to help them achieve better overall wellbeing. Her experience spans all populations, from infants to seniors, in a variety of settings, making her a well-rounded social worker. She loves helping people discover their strengths and solutions. As a therapist, Jodie offers a non-judgmental, come-as-you-are space to grow and become your best self.
Currently, Jodie specializes in treating adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, and life stressors or transitions. Her approach to therapy is individualized and eclectic, recognizing that we are all unique. You will work together using cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and interpersonal psychology techniques to help you feel better. Jodie believes we all have strengths that can help us be our best selves; sometimes we just need guidance and support.
Outside of work, Jodie enjoys spending time with family, walking her dog, hiking, and Zumba. She also loves cooking, baking, photography, and art.

LiveStance Health Michigan is good, open to discuss any questions you have. Personally I know Jodie Haber - my therapist, listen to you very patiently. Gives maximum time to hear my problems. Very supportive and kind at heart.

A therapist is a very personal matter and I feel that this was not the place for me. Perhaps for others but it did not meet my personal expectations.
When I arrived I was greeted with an empty office and a sign saying help yourself to coffee. The admin came in about 15 min later with lunch and just said Hi.
Personally, I found this approach cold and unwelcoming. When someone did come finally at appointment time I felt dismissed after I shared my first reaction to my arrival. Not a thank you for your comments just a she works by herself.
In my case the therapist knew nothing about me because apparently my forms did not go through, well if I was greeted this could have been addressed.
I personally felt like the therapist did not make an effort to get to know me, I talked she listed but I found her affect cold. I left feeling like why did I bother nothing was accomplished in my opinion.
Do your research and make sure you connect because without communication therapy does not work.
